  1. You are the best Piano Teacher on YouTube period! I watched so many piano teaching videos & and youโ€™re the only that explains everything so easy for anybody to understand

  2. Neosoul has something magical about it! Thanks for all the free videos on the subject Piano pig! When I have some money saved up Iโ€™ll have to join your music academy!

  3. Not a member but will check out the course and others on the platform: this is an interesting chord progression and not too hard for newbies either. Really good. Thank you.

Can I ask what software is used to record the virtual keyboard key presses at note names? That could be an interesting tool to use when improvising, to review what's been played and also (in my case) to pinpoint what went wrong.

  4. Simon, you're not only my favorite online piano teacher, you're my favorite music teacher ever, including all the ones I've worked with in the real world. I love the accessible way you come at this stuff, I love your taste, I love your balance between theoretical discussion and concrete application, and your emphasis on being playful and experimental. So happy to have found ya. And yes, I'm a member, and this neo-soul stuff and your discussion of Robert Glasper and Slum Village was what perked up my ears in the first place.

  5. This little piggy went to market. This little piggy blew some dough. This little piggy sang sad songs. And this little piggy lived alone. But the best little piggy played neo soul! Great video as always. Many thanks
