Broooo 🤣 I just typed Gary Owen into the Netflix search bar to see if a comedy special pops up. You know what popped up? Not anything about Gary. But a whole section, several rows, dedicated to "black male leads" and "real talk". Its official, Gary is no longer a white man in the eyes of the system 😂😂😂 in fact, the first Comedian that pops up is Dave Chappelle lmao 🤣

1st Sunday – Communion; 3rd Sunday was always an afternoon program with a viisitng church and a dinner. Also can't forget pastor and wife appreciation and the church's anniversary. Mother's Day is always a long day at church too. Those were also afternoon programs with a visiting church or guest pastor and a dinner. If there was an afternoon program, you had about 2 hours after morning service was over to probably go get some food and come back. Afternoon programs rarely started on time due to BPT and were usually never over until at least 7pm. Collection plates included Sunday school, regular offering, tithes, poor saints fund, and building fund. If we had a guest pastor we collected money for them too. That's as much as I can remember from my younger days. Plus, don't forget those A & B selections!!😁
